By purchasing 1.42 percent of preferred shares worth 10.6 million euros, Neven Pivac's company secured a position among the largest owners and a stable dividend yield.
The meat industry company Braća Pivac has become one of the ten largest shareholders of Adris Group. According to official data from the Zagreb Stock Exchange and the Central Depository & Clearing Company (SKDD), the company acquired a 1.42 percent stake in preferred shares with the ticker ADRS2.
The ownership stake was opened through a custody account at OTP Bank and includes a package of 96,500 shares. The value of this transaction is estimated at around 10.6 million euros, as reported by Jutarnji list. These are preferred shares that entitle holders to dividends but do not grant voting rights at the company's general assembly.
Adris Group is known for its stable dividend policy, and in June 2026, a historically high dividend of 3.12 euros per share was approved. For the lowly indebted Braća Pivac meat industry, this investment represents a secure return with a yield significantly above bank deposit rates. It is estimated that they will receive more than 300,000 euros based on the dividend.
The owner of Braća Pivac meat industry, Neven Pivac, confirmed the motivation for the purchase. He emphasized "that he considers this share and Adris Group an excellent company and that the purchase is motivated solely by investment, not by a possible takeover, which in reality is not even possible through the purchase of preferred shares."
Adris Group has capital divided into ordinary and preferred shares that are traded in parallel on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Ordinary shares are mostly held by former and current managers and employees of the former TDR, who, together with pension funds, control about three-quarters of the company's total capital.
